To design ski boots using next generation technology to elevate skiing from hobby to passion for Singer.
Singer Vehicle Design is a car "resto-mod" company that specializes in high end luxury modifications for model 1 Porsche 911s. They are known for their attention to detail and a relentless pursuit of perfection.

A bespoke alpine touring boot designed for effortless uphill ascents and uncompromising downhill control fits Singer's philosophy and passion for adventure and speed. This product translates the tailored, high-performance spirit of Singer's reimagined classic 911s directly to the snow.

Alpine skiing is the practice of sliding down snow-covered slopes on skis, relying on chairlifts and groomed resort trails to maximize downhill speed, control, and accessibility.

Nordic skiing is a discipline of cross-country movement across flat or rolling terrain using free-heel bindings, propelling oneself forward through rhythmic, low-impact momentum.

Ski Touring is a form of skiing where enthusiasts climb mountains using specialized bindings and lightened gear to earn their own downhill descents without relying on ski lifts.
The competitors in this market are all focusing on ski boots that are only suitable for casual use or competition use. None are specializing in high-end hobby ski boots.

Magnesium is chosen over the more conventional Aluminum due to it's high strength-to-weight ratio as well as resistance to wear in cold weather. It is 33% lighter than Aluminum and 70% lighter than steel.

20% lighter than the more conventionally used polyurethane, polyamide provided flexibility, durability as well as excellent temperature resistance. The springy elasticity provides quick energy return for fast turns on the slope, while also providing sufficient protection and cushioning on the rare impact.

Extremely lightweight, carbon fiber has been touted as the most prominent composite material since it's creation. Excellent strength to weigh ratio and high stiffness makes it a sure pick for structural components.

A lightweight magnesium buckle on the heel allows free ankle movement when unlatched and a rigid high-response stiffness when latched. This allows flexible movement during the ascent and a robust heel support structure for the descent.

A dial based system that allows uniform tightening of the boot in all areas while preserving the best fit possible for the user. The dial has a very textured grip and pops out for easier access with gloved hands. The monogram stays upright independent of the dial.
